problems with BOOT!!!

Hi,Im Ugo,from Finland.Yesterday I installed mandrake 10 on my laptop.I created partitions and everythink,but I installed the bootloader LILO wrongly!!!!!!
Now when I switch on the computer a black screen appears with a letter written : L and then it stops.
No Windows,No linux anymore.
The data are still on the computer,but I can't acces.
Any idea?

You can either try to reinstall Linux or if you installed LILO on the MBR (Master Boot Record), you can remove it with the fdisk utility. In DOS, just type fdisk /mbr to remove LILO completely. Hope it will help.
