Well, this sounds weird.
And I think its imposable.
I want to setup a RAID - 1 (or a Image Backup) with a Virtual HD.
Like from VMware or from innotek Virtual Box.
Is there a way to setup RAID / Image Backup?
Since then I can install Linux there. And check how to make Wifi Run in the meanwhile that I already are connected.
I have 2 HDs in the Current PC. So can I RAID a Virtual HD with a real one?
And how?
well, i know there is no problem creating 2 virtual hd's and raiding those, or likewise using two physical drives and raiding those inside the vm. i have never thought to try one physical and one virtual, however.
i dont see where there'd be a problem to be honest since you're presenting two hard drives to the vm either way. just so long as they are the same size and type (scsi or ide), i would think it'd work just fine. i dont currently have a spare physical drive, or i'd try it as well as now im curious to see.
Well its just my Lazy way to be able to install Gentoo in a Working Envoirment.
Since I dont have ANY knowledge from Wifi with Gentoo nor Linux.
So, well I might try it later on. I am just a bit scared that Ill break something.. (I just learned about RAID 2 months ago)
