Hi Everybody
Can anyone help me out if we accidently used the rm command for the files ,
How to recover these files ; with the command or without the commnad help.
and and.....like any body pass me the script for testing the tool is installed or not......!
You cannot do this. Assuming you haven't overwritten the disk space, there are utilities out there that can potentially recover them (with no guarantee), but in general, there is no easy way to do it.
As Cabhan says, this isn't possible. rm is forever. Some distros have a wastebin folder thatn you can move files to and recover them from instead of deleting them forever.
