Hi!
I would like to know if there is a distro with sata drivers already on it
that helps to boot from a Sata HDD without always asking me to push F1?
Or which distro has a downloadable driver that really works?
Thanks a lot!

This feature as nothing to do with any distro. It is only related to Linux Kernel you are using.
In fact, I never had a problem with my SATA drives on any of those distros: Fedora Core 4, Ubuntu 5.10, Debian 3.1, Mandriva 2005, Arch, and a few others.
Any Kernel 2.6 would work flawlessly (never tested below 2.6.8 with SATA though).
Push F1 to boot? That sounds much more like a BIOS problem. You get ask to push F1 because the BIOS as encoutered an error with one of your devices. Upgrade your BIOS, or just check the settings.
Thanks a lot Antidrugue , i'll do that then.
