security camera software
I have set up multiple network security cameras which upload images periodically using FTP to my Ubuntu desktop. This system is working great to archive old data, but recently there was a need to review a 24 hour period to investigate an event.
With 80,000 images in this directory (collected over the course of 30 days), I need a security software designed to facilitate filtering through this archive of images to find the minutes in question. Does anyone know of a good solution to this problem?

If they are just images then something like digikam, gthumb or shotwell should be able to filter by a timeline

Guys, this thread is well over 2 years old so I'm going to go ahead and close it, but do feel free to start a fresh thread with details if any of you are still having problems with Linux.
Thank you.
