I have installed damn small linux as a live cd, but when i created the cd, it said i could not add any more files to the cd, so if i wanted to add more software how would I do it? Also, since I used a cd-rw, can I erase later it on?

If I recall correctly, you can't overwrite data on a CD-RW but you can add data to a CD-RW that has already been written to. I think it might be a bit hard to add software to a DSL CD, it's not like you can just write the program to the CD and have it work immediately. Besides, why would you want to add more stuff to DSL if the point is to keep it small? Try going with something like Feather Linux, which has goals similar to that of DSL but is about twice as big and has twice as much software, but is still pretty small. Or you could always make your own live CD - read this article for more info on that.
