I have a question (obviously  ) relating to mounting a directory. A few weeks back I noticed a new dir (/backup) which was setup by one of my servers' techs. I didn't realize until now when checking out a few things that it was mounted as /dev/hdd1, which is already mounted as /home/httpd. What I am looking for it how to find out how it is automatically mounted at boot up and how to stop it from being mounted automatically. I mount /home/httpd with putting the command: mount /dev/hdd1 /home/httpd in /etc/rc.local.
Can someone please help me out to unmount /backup at boot and mount /home/httpd when booted without having to use rc.local?
As always...any help appreciated!
