Is there a way/project underway to make KDE work with XP?
Folks a thought just occured to me, and I'm almost completely new to Linux. Would it be possible for someone to take KDE or Gnome or some other X Windows Desktop Manager and convert it to work as the default shell in XP? I know there are a couple of Blackbox and Fluxbox clones out there, but that's not the same...

I don't think Microosft will ever allow a 3rd party userinterface to run on their ' sweet' XP.
As this woulld replace the core of Internet Explorer.
Slim change this will ever happen.
As far to me, XP has only one value; gaming. nothing more.
It's the only reason I keep a 40GB partition alive with XP on it.
