once you have uninstalled/removed debian, boot from windows xp cd choose recovery console at dos prompt type fixmbr and press enter.if using a win 9x cd at the prompt type fdisk/mbr . that should get windows up & running again

here's how to make a boot floppy in xp
1. Place diskette in the computer.
2. Open My Computer and right click the A: drive and click Format.
3.In the Format window check Create an MS-DOS startup disk.
4. Click Start
typing fdisk at the prompt will give you a list of options just make your choice & go. to restore mbr just type in fdisk/mbr or fixmbr
