Use Grub to boot a hdd on ide-pci card
I think in theory this is possible.
I have asus M/B pb3-f with only onboard UDMA33 mode 2, and considering I want to bump that up to today's standards of 100/133 mode 5/6.
The M/B has PCI 2.1 so it should support 133MB/s bus.
I bought a Pci add-in card with a Via VT6410 chipset, but I failed to check to see if it was bootable and it was not.
I want to boot windows from the pci-ide card.
So simple solution is stick grub on a floppy and try to boot the hdd through the pci-ide card.
How would I go about doing this and be able to boot the drive?
