Help Activate Prey on Android Phone

Hi guys,

I just registered my android phone and laptop device using Prey.

My laptops have been activated by email but it's asking me to activate android by SMS.

Can't seem to find how.

Hope somebody can share their experience how they did theirs.

BTW I have attached a screenshot of my dashboard FWIW.

Got it.

Went out for a walk to clear my mind. Read everything again and got it working. I am trying it now and reported my phone as missing and am waiting for the reports to come in. In about 20 minutes.

I tried to report my android as missing the whole night here and was surprised to find no reports in my mail.

Anyways, I told a friend who also has android phone to give it a try and see how it goes for him. I'll be updating you for sure. ;

I tried to report my laptop as missing just to test the system and in 10 minutes I received my first report. It had my IP address, my picture (darn! i was not wearing any shirt) , and a screenshot of my desktop.

With my android, I was able to report it as missing and I also got my report in my email ad. Just have to understand more how I can navigate around in android.

Laptop was as easy as 123.

So how had everything worked out? I have installed prey on my Phone but I haven't tried repoting it missing yet. I did notice that you only get 10 free reports. Did you install it from Market or how did you install it?

I installed mine through market and I was able to access my account through my laptop. I was able to activate mine on android using a friends cellphone to text GO PREY to my cell. I turned if of though by sending STOP PREY.

My mistake was I was trying to find a way to activate prey on android using my laptop to access my account in preyproject.com.

I realized I just have to text my phone to activate.
