    Exclamation KindleFire rooted -cannot stat 'stack' error


    I'm trying to convert my Kindle Fire 8.9 HD into pure Android. I've rooted the device to a pc running Ubuntu 12.04. When I type this command at the shell promp

    ./adb-linux push stack /data/local/tmp/

    This is the output I get

    cannot stat 'stack': No such file or directory

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Talking Problem solved!

    I found the solutin to my problem! I went back to rootmykindle.com and downloaded KindleFire89HDRoot.zip. I then extracted the file and copied stack from the "stuff" folder into my working directory. Problem solved.
