Error mounting Archos AV320
I have an Archos AV 320 multi-media player. I want to transfer some files i have off of it and put them on my linux machine.
But when I plug it in and turn it on, I get a "error mounting device" message. Is there anything I need to be able to get my player compatible with linux?"Do or do not...there is no try" -Yoda

I don't have that device so I can't specifically help you, but you may be having a file system incompatibility. I saw a post on another forum once about the AV400 and someone having to reformat it to FAT32 manually in order to get it working. I should note that they were able to get the device to mount initially, but as read only. The reformat allowed them read/write access.

I found it on http://ubuntuforums.org. Just search for "archos av400".
