How to read the Unique ID (UID) of the SmartCards:

Hi all,

I m doing SmartCard application on Android. I am trying this in both linux (RedHat 5) and windows 7.

I used OmniKey reader and Watchdata reader. I have installed 'Ucard tool java version' tool in windows 7 and i tried to get the unique id of the smartcard.This tool detects my smartcard but this is not reading the unique id of the smartcard.

I used APDU “00CA010108” to get the UID of the smartcards.

I tried to get this in linux(RedHat 5). But i dont know which tool should i use to get the uid of the smartcard.Also i will be happy if you give me idea to find on windows7 also.



Anyone can please help me to find out the UID of the SmartCard.
