    Suse linux 9.1 64 bit proffessional help with cable internet


    I need help with my emachines computer its a T6000 and it has onboard Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC card and i dont know what to do im a real noob with linux and i dont know where to start if i need drivers or what because my card works perfect with my cable internet when im on windows but when i go onto my linux my internet doesn't work. Please help!

    can you use 'pump' or 'dhcpcd'? What about yast, or yast2 - Does those help?

    ive tried using yast2 and my onboard ethernet is there and everything for the card but do i need linux drivers to use the card for my cable internet and i am also in a network with two other computers behind a router if that helps.
