Connecting a windows box as the client to a Linux RHEL AS 4.0 Server

    Hi All,

Is it possible to connect a windows xp pro box to a RHEL AS 4.0 box without having an internet connection?.

I have two laptops. One has Windows XP pro and the other has RHEL AS 4.0.

I need to connect these laptop in a client-Server configuration (using the NIC's) in order to use Oracle which is installed on RHEL AS 4.0 through the Oracle client on the Windows XP box.

    Any guidance/help/inputs/pointers are greatly appreciated,

    rhelasuser.

So are these systems on the same network? If they are, they should be able to communicate via IP. Not much more involved than that.
