    It looks like you have two network cards... Sorry for the stupid question... but is the cable in the correct jack?

    You have no gateway specified -
    default gw.lipcpost. 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth1
    I am not sure if that is an issue, but it could be...

    Wink Problem Solved

    Hi foolse,

    This hard drive called renderbox007 was not mounted on the network. That is why, I couldn't ping it from any machine we have here. It was working properly before but for some reason it got unmounted and hence could communicate with any of the machines.

    I used the command mount -av, and I can ping it now. No problem!!!
