    SMC Barricade NATP problems...

    Hi there,

    I'm using a SMC Barricade adsl modem/router to conect my lan to the internet.

    I wanted to open some ports for exterior connections, like ssh or ftp, smtp and www, but no works. It seems that is the router that rejects all the connections.

    I've read all the SMC manual and nothing, the router supports NATP, the ports are forwarded to my lan server...

    Anyone with a SMC that can help me to figure out this problem !?

    ISP misconfiguration....

    Hi again,

    My problem is now solved.

    After 45 minutes talking with an techinician of my ISP I was able to see that all my problems were because my adsl provider's poor configuration

    The router have always been well working all this time...

    Just in case, some ISPs don't know nothing at all, so don't waste much time talking with low tech people, just go straight to the administrator...
