    Hello im wandering if there is any prog that can show me what my adsl line is syncing ... well i got aztech dsl turbo 100 modem using the eciadsl drivers ( eciadsl.flashtux.org ) and im suppose to have 5mbit line but aint getting the speed i should .... i had 2mbit just befor i got the 6mbit line and the speed has just gon up by 30kb/s well if im not understundable im sorry but what i mean is that i want a prog that shows me 2000dl/256ul for 2mbit connection and like 6000dl/256ul for an exapmle :P

    thanks for a quick replay ... but i allready tryed these from my own isp and i only got rate like i had 2mbit connection ... but i really want to find out how im syncing the line becouse i have to find out if its the modem/driver foult or isp foult that im only gaining 30kb/s dl by changin my connection from 2mbit --> to 6mbit....

    doesnt your modem have a config page like http://192.168.0.1 or something that tells you the speed its connected at?

    If you want more than the free online tests, I think that you are going to need access to some proprietary hardware.

    Something like what's listed here

    Unfortunately, none of it is cheap, or readily available. Try asking your ISP to send out a technician to test the line. They have all the equipment.

    no it does not its a usb modem not a router :S i know i can see the speed of the connection in winblows ... but not in linux and i cant installa modem drivers on windows any more becous i get blue screeeeen of death !# :S

    well im going to ring my isp tonight and check on them
