Network with Windows?
Using some spare parts I had lying around, I built my Grandma a computer, and to keep costs down I put Ubuntu on it.
Ignoring the obvious difficulties that could arise with a wireless network going over ~75 Ft., is it possible to have a wireless network with one Windows computer and one Linux computer in it?
I'm not really worried about how well the network... works, because she is probably only going to use it for the occasional e-mail or use of the printer, but I would like to make sure that it's even possible.

Hi Buddy,
Ok yo answer is yes, its only a network, just give it ip if its static, and thats it.
if its Dhcp, just set it to auto and things will auto setup.
Thats all
Cheers
