    MASQ and MIRC

    Dear Friends...

i make an internet sharing.. with enabling ip_forward and Masquerade all packet (currently i'm using RH9)

    1. echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
    2. iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -j MASQUERADE

    it works well..

how ever i got trouble in my client, when i'm using MIRC, everytime i connect to EFnet or DALnet server.. they reject the connection, and say that we are kline, when i'm using the M$ XP and their tools.. its works fine...

is there anything wrong ? please help..
    thanks

What reason do they give you? You will get klined for connecting to IRC as root.

Can you please be more specific as to what error you are getting and how you are getting (what point in the connect).
