    modem detection

    hi
    i had installed redhat 9 and i got a problem with the detection of the modem .
    how to do to recognize the modem ,i have an internal modem(motorola),and how to install it and configure to make a connection ?

    Google is a linux users best friend. No one using linux knows everytihing, and Google does. Try http://www.linuxant.com and if you are running KDE, try KPPP.

    download and install the drivers (can probably be found on motarolas website, but might be 3rd party) then as Maclizard said, try one of the dialers.
