    Post RHEL5 in P4

    Hi....

    I am using P4 system for RHEL5. But i am not getting 100% satisfaction. When go to tty1 from tty7, After come back from tty1, I lost everything. I shouldnot come back to tty7. And also to tty1. I will find stand by PC means PC should not work. Is there any problem in RHEL5. or any probelm in my PC.

    RHEL 5 doesn't have any problem like this but it could be coz of a lot of other Hardware/software factors.

    Are you passing any vga value to kernel? Post the kernel line from /boot/grub/grub.conf file here.

    Which Graphics Card do you have and which Driver are you using?

    su -
lspci | grep VGA
grep -i driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf
    Post output here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
