    error 110 connection time out ?

    i have installed mpich2 and when i start mpd it give error 110 connection time out.
    can somebody help me in knowing about this error. i am using dream linux its a debian distro.

    well, i dont know much about mpich2, but this is the basic error when you try to connect to a server which is not listening. just try to ping to the server to which you want to connect just to make sure there is no connectivity problem
