    Hi ALL

    i am using tata indicom USB modem ...and i am connecting modem by the command wvdial and it is connected but
    My problem is

    i am using wvdial command as a root an it will connect without any error

    My requirement is how to run this command by user ( is not giving the permission )

    and i want all the preferences of root to give user how?

    NOTE: some one told we have to edit visudo script but i dont know


    ANY one have solution please tell me in steps

    You didn't say what distro you are using so it depends where your wvdial executable is. Presuming it's in /usr/bin, from the command line as root or sudo do:

     chmod a+s /usr/bin/wvdial
