telnet client caching despite nscd off
Hi
I am trying to do a telnet on a service which resolves to two addresses. We have a round robin DNS to provide us with alternative ips on the requested serivce name(If I do a nslookup on the service name this round robin feature is working well). We want the service to contact the DNS everytime so we have disabled the nscd daemon on the client side, where we are running the telnet program.
But when I run telnet ,it always starts contacting with the same ip everytime(not honoring the round robin feature of DNS) and then if that fails goes on to try the other one.
Please guide.
Thanks
