Monitor, cap, and log network usage
I am running an ubuntu server from my house that has a proxy, ftp server, and web server running off of it, although most are used solely by myself and my friend. I don't have a terribly nice internet connection upstream, so i was wondering if there were any commands that list the network usage, and/or any programs that can limit/log usage.
Any ideas?

There are lots of monitoring tools available.
Network Monitoring Tools
It depends which kind of network traffic you want to monitor.
IMO system command 'netstat' gives you lots of good results.bigunix.blogspot.com

I am using netspeed to monitor Network Traffic.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
