dual-homed on same network
I have a machine with two ethernet cards. I'd like to connect both to the same switch, so that the machine is accessible from other hosts via two IP addresses.
Will this cause routing problems? I'm cautious as I don't have physical access to the machine. eth0 would be the main interface (and would be used for all outbound traffic); I'd just use eth1 as a backup way of accessing the server, should eth0 go down (been having a few problems with the NIC)
