Using Linux to control network traffic
Hello, I'm somewhat a noob on this area. I need a linux machine to control the incomming and outgoing traffic from my network.
Internet ----> Linux Machine ----> My Network
The linux machine has to relay ALL incomming and outgoing traffic, except the traffic I choose not to relay. (Ex. Block outgoing port 25)
Can anyone tell my if this is possible? And how should I do this.
Thank you.

It should be possible. You need to look into squid and iptables as these are the tools that will help you achieve what you want to do.
