    configuring rcp and rsh

I was in the middle of installing clusterware Oracle 10 g R2 on Linux VMware images.

It seems that rcp and rsh is not working properly on these images. Due to the my installation wizard is not able to copy the file on to another node (remote node)

Is there any guide for configuring rcp and rsh ? or is there any checks which needs to be carried out to see whether rcp and rsh are working properly?

    Details

    VMware Images
    OS : RHEL 4

    Physical connectivity is okay

    Thanks

rcp and rsh aren't usually included with modern distros are they are insecure protocols. However scp and ssh are included, the encrypted secure alternative. Run man scp and man ssh to get a breakdown of the commands.
