problem in installing ethereal in redhat linux 9

Can some one tell me the installation procedure for ethereal
in rehat linux 9, I went through user guide of ethereal i tried
installing as per the use guide, i am finding diffculty.
it need some packages,

Give me set of packeges required for the installation
of ethereal,

And the way to install,

The Red Hat 9 mirrors are mostly decommissioned at this stage as it is out of support. You'll more than likely have to build it from source (it's called Wireshark now) though I imagine you will have all sorts of trouble getting a recent version working or worse, trying to get packages for your dependencies.

Are you tied to Red Hat 9? If not I would strongly recommend upgrading.
