Linux Router/Firewall
hello all
i hope i put this in the correct spot.
i am looking to set up a linux box that will work as my router/firewall.
what i would like is some advise on the distro to use.
i am looking into using smoothwall.
would you use that one or a different one and maybe some advise as to why?
thanks

I recommend you use SmoothWall because of the configuration and it gets the job done.

IPCop Linux is a complete Linux Distribution whose sole purpose is to protect the networks it is installed on. By implementing existing technology, outstanding new technology and secure programming practices IPCop is the Linux Distribution for those wanting to keep their computers/networks safe."Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft.
