Requires helped about problems in an ISP

Hello Friends,

I need some suggestions from who are administrator and/or system engineer in an ISP.

Recently I'm appointed as a system engineer in one of renown isp in BD.

I know how to configure and how to install but I don't know what are the regular problems occur in the ISP.

So if u are informed me about such type of problems then I'll be prepared myself for that errors.

Please help me about the regular problems and what are requires to check regularly.

Hello and Welcome!

Well, I'm not an admin of an ISP, but I do work for one. The best advise I can give would be to listen to the experience of anybody on your team that may have a little time under their belt with this type of job.
But, other than that, lots of network monitoring! You're going to have to really get into the whole network to make sure that you have reliable DHCP and DNS servers. If even one of these go down, there goes connectivity for a good sized footprint of your clientèle.

Other than that, make sure that all maintenance is performed regularly for your nodes and blades.
