I need help for analysing bandwidth usage which is required for pure-ftpd. I have have looked at the following:

Pure-ftpd log with AWStats:
- The problem is that pure-ftpd only logs successful transfer, a failed transfer of large files would mean a very inaccurate reading of bandwidth usage

Traffic analysing software such as RRDTools
- These only read data from a defined source such as logs from routers
- Data sources that I have researched does not separate individual's usage or traffic type

I need a way separating the bandwidth usage for each individual users and the various type of traffic.

Are there any suggestions for tools that can log these details?
