Bridged networking on startup
I'm running a Windows XP guest in VirtualBox on my Kubuntu 8.04 host. I have a script I run to enable bridged networking, but I'd like to have it run when the computer boots up. What is the best way to do this?
The script takes about 15sec to complete because it has to request another DHCP lease, or something like that. I don't want to extend my boot up time by 15sec, so maybe the script could be run before the interface goes up? I'm not sure how to do that.
