My laptop wont connect to the internet?
Please help me peoples, I have my desk top computer hooked up to the Verizon wire-less router by the cable and want to hook up my laptop wireless. The problem is that it shows a signal strenght of good and the little light blinks on the router but it wont let me connect to a web page.
Please forgive my spelling, not the best and also learning computers as well.
I have an old Dell inspiron 2600 with XP and the Verizon Vios with a Netgear 54 Mbps wireless PC card (WG511 v2). The router brand is the one that they give you with the install, Actiontec.
If some one can walk me thrue the complete set up that should be done, I would thank you a million! I have tryed everything possableand might have changed a few settings, so the complete walk thrue would prob. be needed. Sorry!
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!
