    no ip connection in backtrack

    i have dell inspiron 1525 laptop, and recently created backtrack live cd which has the correct md5 sum, as mentioned on the website. i think my ethernet connection is not working as the ethernet light is not blinking and the internet is not working either.

    i have ubuntu 8.10 and vista installed and the net is working perfectly fine on both the OS.

    pls help, thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Hi,

    If you are using linux machine then try to check module tg3 and bcm5700 by running command lsmod,if this is missing try to copy these modules from other machine
