Linux networking help
Hi,
I have Mandriva Linux 2008.1 installed on a laptop HDD. I've installed this HDD onto a desktop and it books up properly, but always fails to find eth0 during booup. eth6 however doesn't fail.
When I've logged in, sometimes the network manages to get connected, but most of the time it doesn't. I've tried setting the watched connection to eth6 and then connect to it, as well as using the network setup wizard. However, it doesn't work.
How can I fix my faulty network?
Thanks.
