    [SOLVED] No wired connection on netbook


    I have a Dell Mini 9 using the Ubuntu Remix. I can connect to the web using wireless, but not with the ethernet cable connected to the netbook.

    When I use network tools, and try to configure eth0 (after manually entering my IP address, etc) I get "Interface does not exist"

    Any ideas?

    I think your problem is widespread. See this thread for more. If it is the same problem, the fix seems to be upgrading kernel.
