    NIC not detecting .

    Hi ............
    I am using duel boot xp and cent os4 ,both are working fine .But some time when I am switching from xp to linux my NIC not detecting .Can any one help me how to over come this problem .

    Could be XP doing/leaving the network hardware in a funny state ???

    Try doing a cold boot (that is shudown the computer and then manually start it) when switching between OS's.
    In a world without walls and fences, who needs Windows and Gates?
