    snmp authentication

    PLZZZZZZZZZzz for all i need any one help tell me how i can make authentication for snmp
    i created user and his password
    i wanna know how to restricet accessing snmp agent to work just be user name and password
    plz any one know soultion plz answer me

    SNMPv3 supports Authentication and Encryption.

    SNMPv1 andv2 use community names for simple authentication.

    Does the SNMP client support v3?

    plz dear can u list me the steps ho i can configure the snmp v3 agent to access just by user name and passwod
