As a newbee to Linux I have found myself fighting with Linux Lite on my Aspire One.

After following some advice to solve the problem of it not finding my wifi-modem and 3G modem, I completely deleted the 'networking' folder in .gconfig/system; probably not very clever of me

I was scared of the consequences, but it even worked... for 10 minutes.

Now it never recognises these modems and I would like to restore the deleted folder.

Does anybody know if it is still in some sort of trashcan or downloadable from the internet? Or is a complete system recovery the only option?
