RHEL 3 unable to browse Internet VMWARE
Hello All,
Haven't worked with Linux in too many years, I checked the forums but wasn't able to resolve the issue:
I have a VMware installation on my Windows 2003, I have a RHEL 3 image on my VMware.
I am able to connect to the internet from my Windows Machine, however I'm unable to from my RHEL3.
my Windows ipconfig Reads:
IP Address: 192.168.15.80
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.15.1
RHEL 3
resolv.conf Reads:
nameserver 192.168.15.1
search local domain
my ifcfg-eth0 Reads:
DEVICE=eth0
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
IPADDR=192.168.0.101
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY=192.168.15.1
TYPE=Ethernet
PEERSDNS=no
USERCTL=no
I have a linksys router (192.168.5.5) with DHCP disabled, which is connected to my Wimax device (192.168.15.1) with DHCP enabled.
When I open a browser in RHEL3, Im redirected to the Wimax Router login page which is 192.168.15.1
