Help: Module problem: insmod fealnx.o says Device not found
I'm trying to install the Myson Ethernet 10/100MB fealnx.o
module. I'm running kernel 2.4.24. Unfortunately, when I
try installing the module, it complains that "Device not found".
This seems to be generated by the PCI modules, but I have
no clue how to go about rectifying this. Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks in advance,
Julian

does the log show anything useful (tail --lines 45 /var/log/messages) and how about dmesg (dmesg)?

No

But I think that the answer may be that my PCI bus is not set up to
handle this module, or that the module expects the hardware to be
present to work.
Looks like the PCMCIA modules won't handle this card; I've just
managed to figure out that PCI != PCMCIA :-/
Thanks!
