    Hello and Welcome.
Open a terminal window and issue these commands please. There will be a lot of output, it would be helpful if you could post only the relevant parts if you know how, but other than that, post it all.
    Code:
    lspci -v
    Code:
    ifconfig
    Code:
    lsmod
Which Desktop/Distro are you using? If you need to copy the output of those commands to text files, just use the > symbol and name it what ever you like.
    lspci -v > lspci.txt
    ifconfig > ifconfig.txt
    lsmod > lsmod.txt

Well you only needed the files if you don't have internet access in Linux, this way you could copy the files over to the windows partition in order to upload them here on the forums. If you have internet access on Linux then you can just copy and paste the results. Does that make sense to you? We need to see the output of those commands so we might be able to help you.

Well, it looks like you have the correct modules loading, the e1000. Which Desktop are you using? Which distro? KDE? Gnome?
Do you see a network icon in your system tray? Have you tried setting up the connection from there?

Well, can you try this from the command line and see what kind of error we can get it to cough up. Use root or sudo, whichever your system is configured for.
    Code:
    system-config-network
Look around in there and set the device to activate on boot. Try these commands too.
    Code:
    ifconfig eth0 up
    Code:
    dhclient eth0
(or maybe dhcpcd eth0) I forget which one Redhat uses.
    Code:
    dmesg
