    network emulator based on linux kernel


    i finally changed some features in the kernel of linux and now i want to find a good network emulator to test it and see the results. i want do ping , traceroute, whois, and all that staff. what emulator do you suggest to use?

    If I understood you correctly, I guess VNUML may be of use for you.

    i have one question about virtualization netwroks? what is the differnce betweem netkit/vnuml and planetlab/clean slate?
