im confused how are you connecting the 2 comps? Is it just an ethernet cable between the 2 computers? Which 1 haas the internet connection the windows comp or linux?
I had a problem with fedora core 2 with sharing files
it turned out i needed to turn my firewall off on the linux box and make sure the windows comp's firewall was scanning the internet connection and my linux connection
