    how to limit network connection


    Hi !

    how can i limit my network connection so that i only use e.g. 50mbit/sec for the first networkcard and 30mbit/sec for the second networkcard.

    btw.: i have gentoo installed and kde 3.3 running

    you can use traffic control (tc). its compilied by default in newer kernels. if not you may need to recompile or patch.

    anyway check out http://lartc.org will put you in the right direction.
