    download speed in linux

    Hi
I have dualboot b/w windows xp and linux. In windows xp i have install Internet download manager (IDM) which is giving me good download speed of 235-240 KB/s. But in linux, I tried d4x, firefox's builtin download manager, wget etc but all are giving download speed of not more than 130-140 KB/s. Is there any download manager for linux which can give me good speed like IDM?
    Thanks

Do you have bad internet speed in general or only for DLMgrs?
