telnet error: Connection refused
Hello,
I am working on a bf537 board where I burn a uClinux image to run applications on the target board. I use a ubuntu linux distribution. I am having an issue with telnet, not being able to connect to my target board. I am able to ping the ip address of my target board and also i'm able to ping from the target board onto my system using the serial console, but telnet for that IP does not seem to work and an error msg of "Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused" occurs. I'd appreciate if any diagnostic or resolving measures could be suggested.
Thank you.
Regards,
Tapan.

Sounds like you do not have the telnet server running. Try starting it and see if you still get the same issue. I, myself, would use ssh instead of telnet though.
